Time
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Location

Kalkscheune, Johannisstraße 2, 10117, Berlin

Among the guests are Maja Göpel, Robert Habeck, Marije Laffeber, Tim Ryan, Stephan Weil and many more leading and emerging academics, activists and decision-makers from Europe and the US that are coming together to discuss their ideas for rejuvenating the progressive movement. How can progressive politics counter nationalism? How can we shift to a more sustainable and inclusive economic system? How can we ensure that everyone has a share in progress?

We have to talk! National-populist movements are on the march in Europe and the US, inequality is increasing in many countries and the trust in political centrism and political institutions is eroding.

Therefore, it is more important than ever that progressives come together and share their ideas and impulses for democratic innovation.

The evening debate is open for the public. Join in on 25 April 2019, from 5.30 – 8.30 pm

at Kalkscheune, Johannisstraße 2, 10117 in Berlin

Participating guests include

László Andor, 2010-2014 Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion, Hungary

Maja Göpel, Secretary General, German Advisory Council on Global Change, Germany
